I am pleased to provide you with this  link where you may download a .zip file that contains the recordings of The Monster on Top of the Bed. This is a big file. It contains 98 recordings.

Feel free to download these files.  You are welcome to listen to them even if you have not yet ordered a version of the book.  I strongly recommend that you download these files if you have ordered a book.  That way, you can share the story with children before they get the book, and the excitement will grow.  Just tell them something like, “It’s like listening to story time in the library, or like listening to a TV or radio show.”  To order a version of the book, click here.  Then Save the zip files to your computer.

After you have downloaded the files, unzip them into a directory and then you can listen to them on your computer, or download them to an iPod or .mp3 player. (If you don’t have know how to unzip a file, we suggest you visit http://www.winzip.com.)

You do not have to listen to every single presentation from the first track.  You can select any track.  It’s just like picking any song from an album of music. For example, if you want to listen the Spanish version that was performed by Veronica Garbellini, open the .mp3 file that starts with 52. The back of the CD case contains a map to using the files.
